Amaya Bloch-Lainé
New Cities Summit Program Director
Amaya Bloch-Lainé is the New Cities Summit Program Director at NCF. Amaya develops platforms of content for corporations as well as non-profit entities. She answers increasing demand and need for international conferences, seminars and workshops coming both from private and public stakeholders on issues of common interest. Her range of expertise includes crafting the concept and the agenda of such events, selecting the appropriate speakers, managing the events on site.
She started her career as a researcher in political science and strategic studies within the French Ecole Polytechnique. She then moved to the non-profit sector and created and managed the French office of the Washington-based German Marshall Fund of the United States. She was also Director of programs and operations at the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society. She has been Chief Editor for the Global Sports Forum Barcelona powered by Havas Sports & Entertainment since 2008.
Amaya holds a dual degree in Political Science and International affairs from Science Po Paris.
